Johnson & Johnson Names Joseph Wolk As VP Of Investor Relations In Place Of Louise Mehrotra

Johnson & Johnson JNJ revealed Tuesday that Louise Mehrotra, VP of Investor Relations, would retire in January next year, after a transition period with her successor. According to the company, Joseph Wolk would replace the position with effect from August and would report to the CFO. Louise first joined the company in 1980, and led Investor Relations for over a decade now.

Johnson & Johnson's VP and CFO, Dominic Caruso, commented, "Louise has been a constant advocate for transparency and credibility in our financial communications, a trusted advisor to company management, and her commitment to excellence has led to the development of a best-in-class IR team. We sincerely thank her for more than 35 years of service, and for her leadership in helping develop a strong and diverse Finance organization at Johnson & Johnson."

Before joining the FMCG company, Wolk held multiple positions of growing responsibility at Ametek, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. Joseph's University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Caruso said, "Joe is a proven leader in our Finance organization, and we are confident he will continue our commitment to transparent and credible engagement with the investment community. His cross-sector expertise, prudent financial management and focus on talent development will ensure the investor relations function at Johnson & Johnson remains best-in-class."

Shares shed 0.31 percent on Tuesday.
