  • Medgenics Inc MDGN shares tumbled 15.06 percent to $5.30. Medgenics priced public offering of 3.64 million shares at $5.50 per share.
  • SCYNEXIS Inc SCYX shares dropped 13.96 percent to $2.28. SCYNEXIS priced public offering of 9.375 million shares of its common stock and warrants at $2.40 per share.
  • Paratek Pharmaceuticals Inc PRTK shares fell 13.78 percent to $14.26. Paratek reported a proposed public stock offering.
  • Impax Laboratories Inc IPXL shares declined 11.5 percent to $28.29 as the company revealed that it reached definitive agreements with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (ADR) TEVA and affiliates of Allergan plc AGN for the acquisition of a wide portfolio of generic products. That included solid oral, inhalable, injectable and topical dosage forms and the return to Impax of its rights to its pending abbreviated new drug application for the generic equivalent to Concerta. According to the company, the total payout involved about $586 million.
  • Werner Enterprises, Inc. WERN shares dropped 8.59 percent to $22.56 as the company issued a weak earnings forecast for the second quarter. The company projects a profit of $0.21 to $0.25 per share for the quarter.
  • Viking Therapeutics Inc VKTX shares declined 6.77 percent to $1.24. Viking Therapeutics reported that it has filed a $150 million mixed shelf.
  • Planet Fitness Inc PLNT shares slipped 6.20 percent to $18.32. Planet Fitness reported a secondary offering of 10 million shares of common via selling holder.
  • Knight Transportation KNX shares declined 5.13 percent to $26.44 after Werner issued weak outlook. Bank of America downgraded Knight Transportation from Buy to Neutral.
