Netflix, Inc. NFLX's roster just added royalty.

The streaming giant revealed on Thursday it has signed Dame Julie Andrews for a new pre-school series with a twist. "Julie's Greenroom" will star the legendary actress as Ms. Julie, the director of "The Wellspring Center For The Performing Arts."

Each week Ms. Julie will teach performing arts workshops in the school's "Greenroom" to a cast of "Greenies," which are kid puppets designed by the Jim Henson Creature Shop. Each season will see the kids create an entirely new show that is a mashup of the various performing arts.

In addition the episodes will feature original songs and a special guest stars tied to the area being explored in that edition. Confirmed for the first season are Alec Baldwin, Sara Bareilles, Idina Menzel and Carol Burnett among other big names.

"Greenroom" is the latest addition to Netflix's ever-growing catalog of children's programming which recently added former Paramount kid-pic "The Little Prince" to its ranks.
