Relypsa Inc RLYP rose 27.71 percent to $21.20 in pre-market trading . According to the TheStreet'sAdam Feuerstein, Relypisa scored a "big win" on Friday after its chief rival AstraZeneca plc (ADR) AZN confirmed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration sent a Complete Response Letter (CRL) concerning its hyoperkalaemia treatment known as ZS-9. Feuerstein suggested that AstraZeneca's setback is "fantastic news" for Relypsa, who just secured FDA approval for its rival drug Veltassa last October.

FEI Company FEIC shares rose 12.07 percent to $106.00 in pre-market trading as the company agreed to be acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. TMO for $4.2 billion.

Veeva Systems Inc VEEV shares rose 9.19 percent to $32.50 in pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected results for the first quarter and issued a strong revenue forecast for the year.

Big Lots, Inc. BIG rose 8.67 percent to $48.50 in pre-market trading as the company reported stronger-than-expected results for the first quarter and raised its full-year forecast.

Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. ULTA shares rose 7.91 percent to $230.60 in pre-market trading as the company reported upbeat results for its first quarter and raised its guidance for the year.

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. VNDA shares rose 6.53 percent to $10.11 in the pre-market trading session as the company reported the FDA approval of its supplemental New Drug Application for Fanapt.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals Intl Inc VRX shares rose 5.12 percent to $28.32 in pre-market trading. Dow Jones reported that Valeant received a joint takeover approach from Takeda Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and TPG Capital Management LP this spring that the company rejected.

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. JKS shares rose 3.63 percent to $24.25 in pre-market trading. JinkoSolar posted Q1 earnings of RMB11.20 (US$1.72) per share on total revenue of RMB5.47 billion (US$847.8 million).

Terex Corporation TEX shares 17.78 percent to $20.00 in pre-market trading as Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co Ltd terminated talks to acquire Terex.

Palo Alto Networks Inc PANW shares fell 11.33 percent to $131.50 in pre-market trading as the company also issued disappointing forecast for the current quarter. Palo Alto reported in-line earnings for its third quarter, while the company exceeded analysts’ sales estimates.

GameStop Corp. GME shares fell 7.67 percent to $27.70. GameStop reported better-than-expected earnings for the first quarter, but issued a weak forecast for the current quarter. The company’s same-store sales also tumbled 6.2 percent in the quarter.

Minerva Neurosciences Inc NERV shares fell 6.36 percent to $11.05 in pre-market trading after surging 233.33 percent on Thursday.

21Vianet Group Inc VNET fell 5.59 percent to $13.00 in pre-market trading. 21Vianet Group reported a Q1 loss of $0.04 per share on revenue of $133.7 million.

Ionis Pharmaceuticals Inc IONS shares fell 3.56 percent to $20.60 in pre-market trading after tumbling 39.42 percent on Thursday. BMO Capital downgraded Ionis Pharmaceuticals from Outperform to Market Perform.

Deckers Outdoor Corp DECK shares fell 2.54 percent to $48.00 in pre-market trading. Deckers posted strong results for its fourth quarter, but issued a downbeat outlook for the year.
