reported its trade volumes for the month of April. The company revealed that it averaged $26.0 billion dollar volume traded in Market Making. In all, 5.0 billion shares were traded with 3.6 million trades per day in the equities in the United States in April. As far as KCG Institutional Equities were concerned, it averaged 218.8 million U.S. equity shares traded per day. Similarly, its KCG BondPoint averaged $192.3 million fixed income par value traded per day. In respect of the overall market conditions in April, the company indicated that the consolidated equity volume averaged $257.4 billion in dollar volume in the United States with 7.1 billion shares traded per day.
