Sprint Improves Its Commitment To Business Services With Dedicated Global Wireline Business Creation

Sprint Corp S disclosed that it established a dedicated Global Wireliness business division to offer with flexible solutions to its business customers. According to the company, that would allow them to manage more efficiently, fully engage their employees, and adapt to the future work quickly. The telecom service provider's veteran of Wireline sales and operations, Mike Fitz, commented, "Sprint has a long and successful history of serving businesses and providing the network and the tools that enable their employees to work better and smarter. Sprint offers a one-stop shop that can solve all of a business's telecom challenges. Our customers appreciate that we have an integrated account team that understands their business-critical needs." Sprint said that Fitz would lead the business unit as VP and general manager. The company added that Fitz has been with them for more than a decade, and the positions included vice president of the company's Solutions Engineering department. He was named as "one of the rising stars of wireline" by Fierce Telecom in 2013. The telecom firm said that the Global Wireline Business Unit has full profit-and-loss responsibility. That included strategy, sales, marketing, product management, solutions engineering and operations. The company has dedicated sales representatives, as well as, solutions engineers who sell, design, implement and support wireline solutions for business customers. The objective was to ensure a fully integrated approach to communications needs for business customers. On Monday, the stock traded 1.27% down.
