The worst performing industries in the market today are: Electronic Equipment: This industry slipped 4 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Apple Inc. AAPL, which fell 7 percent. Apple reported downbeat results for its second quarter and issued a weak sales forecast for the third quarter. iPhone sales came out at 51.2 million, about 1 million above estimates but was the first sales decline in the product's history. The company's board increased its share buyback program to $175 billion and announced a 10 percent increase to quarterly dividend. Drug Related Products: This industry declined 2 percent by 11:00 am with Perrigo Company plc PRGO moving down 2.3 percent. Perrigo shares have dropped 46.11 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has declined 0.72 percent in the same period. Diversified Computer Systems: This industry fell 1.4 percent by 11:00 am ET. Arista Networks Inc ANET shares dropped 2.7 percent in today's trading. Arista Networks shares have gained 1.91 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has dropped 0.72 percent in the same period. Specialty Eateries: The industry dropped 1.3 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Shake Shack Inc SHAK, which declined 2.3 percent.
