The latest data from TickerTags indicates Wendys Co (NASDAQ: WEN)'s new veggie burger could be a hit. Wendy’s began testing the new vegan Black Bean Burger at 24 locations back in January, and so far, the social media response has been extremely positive. Although the sample size is small, Wendy’s is hopeful that it may have finally figured out the formula for a successful fast food vegetarian burger.

TickerTags monitors social media sites to identify trends by searching for words and phrases that appear together in social media content, such as tweets.

So far, social media conversation surrounding Wendy’s Black Bean Burger has been three times as positive as conversations about Wendy’s in general.
