iCAD Launches Computer-Aided Detection Solution For Full Field Digital Mammography

iCAD Inc ICAD revealed, in a statement, that it unveiled its mammography Computer Aided Detection (CAD) solution and was available on Fujifilm's Aspire Cristalle full field digital mammography system. iCAD's Director for marketing Cancer detection solutions, Diane Clifford, said, "iCAD is pleased to provide our leading mammography CAD solution to Fujifilm's Aspire Cristalle customers worldwide. We trust our integrated solutions will now provide radiologists with a clinical decision support tool designed to help provide the highest quality care for mammography patients". The company indicated that the PowerLook Advanced Mammography Platform was a flexible solution and that it supported industry leading algorithm for digital mammography. The company indicated that over 3,000 mammography facilities have used the solution around the world. Fujifilm Medical Systems' Marketing Director for product development, Rob Fabrizio, said "Fujifilm is happy to have reached this important milestone with iCAD, moving our customers another important step forward with the ability to simplify the reading of digital mammography exams." He added, "We trust our customers will be pleased with this coupling of the most requested CAD platform with the exceptional imaging capabilities of our Aspire Cristalle mammography system." On Monday, iCAD share traded higher by 0.62%.
