Lumber Liquidators CEO Diagnosed With 'Very Treatable' Form Of Leukemia

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc LL confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that its CEO John Presley has been diagnosed with leukemia. According to a report by Reuters, Presley said in an email to employees that he is suffering from a "very treatable" form of the disease and it has been caught "very early." The executive added that he feels "strong physically and mentally." Reuters added that Presley will undergo a 30-day treatment in Richmond, Virginia and will stay involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. Shares were up more than 5 percent in Wednesday's pre-market session.
