BZ NOTE: IATA Chief Tony Tyler spoke today in Singapore ahead of the Singapore Airshow, Asia's biggest airshow, according to Reuters. Asian budget carriers have been on a decade long buying spree of airliners from Airbus and Boeing BA (READ: Boeing, Korean Air Finalize Order For 30 737-MAXs, 2 777-300ERs Valued At ~$4B from 11/2015).

Sunday's comments from Tyler come two days after RBC Capital lowered Boeing's PT citing the "negative overhang" of the SEC's investigation (READ: RBC On Boeing: Is The Emporer Naked?).  

Shares of Boeing have fallen roughly 23% YTD, closing on Friday at $108.63
