The Dow fell 0.56 percent to 15,938.09, while the NASDAQ composite index tumbled 0.29 percent to 4,271.23. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index dropped 0.43 percent to 1,845.57. The worst performing industries in the market today are: Silver: This industry declined 3.2 percent by 11:00 am with Mines Management, Inc. MGN moving down 7.3 percent. Silver futures dropped 0.49 percent to trade at $15.35 an ounce. Foreign Money Center Banks: This industry fell 2.8 percent by 11:00 am ET. Credit Suisse Group AG (ADR) CS shares dropped 6.3 percent in today's trading. Credit Suisse shares have tumbled 33.06 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has declined 10.40 percent in the same period. REIT - Healthcare Facilities: The industry dropped 2.5 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was HCP, Inc. HCP, which declined 11 percent. HCP reported Q4 adjusted FFO of $0.80 per share on sales of $668.036 million. Toys & Games: This industry slipped 1.8 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Mattel, Inc. MAT, which fell 2.4 percent.
