The Dow rose 0.50 percent to 17,576.42, while the NASDAQ composite index gained 0.52 percent to 5,011.79. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 0.48 percent to 2,060.35. The worst performing industries in the market today are: Photographic Equipment & Supplies: This industry declined 8.6 percent by 11:00 am with GoPro Inc GPRO moving down 8.6 percent. Piper Jaffray lowered price target on GoPro from $20 to $15. Toy & Hobby Stores: The industry dropped 3.4 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc BBW, which declined 3.4 percent. Build-A-Bear shares have dropped 27.96 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 0.07 percent in the same period. Savings & Loans: This industry tumbled 1.5 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was BofI Holding, Inc. BOFI, which fell 3.2 percent. BofI Holding completed its 4-for-1 forward stock split. Toys & Games: This industry fell 1.5 percent by 11:00 am ET. Mattel, Inc. MAT shares dropped 2 percent in today's trading.
