MDAS shares surged 30.57 percent to $30.92 after the company agreed to be acquired by Pamplona Capital Management for $2.7 billion. UniPixel Inc UNXL shares rose 28.57 percent to $1.35 after the company reported that it has received a pre-production order from a major PC OEM. Constant Contact Inc CTCT shares gained 21.72 percent to $31.77 after the company agreed to be acquired by Endurance International Group Hldgs Inc EIGI for $1.1 billion. Estee Lauder Companies Inc EL shares rose 8.24 percent to $87.09 after the company reported stronger-than-expected profit for its fiscal first quarter and lifted its quarterly dividend by 25 percent.
