PMC-Sierra Inc PMCS shares rose 12.79 percent to $11.55 in pre-market trading on higher bid from Microsemi Corporation MSCC. Microsemi offered to acquire PMC-Sierra in a $2.4 billion deal. Zafgen Inc ZFGN shares surged 8.59 percent to $11.25 in pre-market trading after dipping 50.71 percent on Friday. Suntrust maintained a Buy rating on Zafgen and lowered the price target to $25 from $47. SanDisk Corporation SNDK gained 1.69 percent to $71.15 in pre-market trading. SanDisk is expected to post its quarterly earnings on October 21, 2015. Broadcom Corporation BRCM shares rose 1.43 percent to $52.50 in pre-market trading. Brean Capital maintained a Buy rating on Broadcom and lowered the price target to $64 from $67.
