AECOM prime contractor for U.S. Air Force IDIQ Contract Augmentation Program with US$5-billion maximum value

AECOM ACM announced today that it has been awarded a prime contractor position on the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP IV) from the United States Air Force. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract outlines the full range of base, life, operating and logistical support services AECOM will provide for the Air Force and any other U.S. federal entities operating in support of Air Force missions, which could include National Command Authority, joint or combined U.S. military forces, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and multinational forces utilizing U.S. government appropriations. The six-year contract has a $5-billion aggregate maximum value for the eight awardees and is estimated to reach completion by 2021. AECOM will provide services, to be determined by individual needs, at multiple locations worldwide. "We are thrilled to once again be supporting the U.S. government on this critical program," said Randy Wotring, president of AECOM's management services group. "Our company is proud of its long-standing relationship with the U.S. Air Force, and is excited to further strengthen that partnership by providing innovative and effective worldwide contingency solutions as part of our commitment to global resilience and humanitarian relief." AFCAP is a rapid response contingency contract tool for use by U.S. government agencies requiring urgent assistance. AECOM currently supports to the U.S. Air Force on five AFCAP III task orders.
