Mid-Day Market Update: Friday's Top 10 Volume Stocks

The Dow Jones Industrial Index remained stagnant, while the S&P 500 Index increased 0.14 percent, the NASDAQ Composite was lifted 0.37 percent and the U.S. Dollar Index declined 0.26 percent in Friday’s midday session.

The following were Friday’s top ten volume stocks:

1. Bank Of America

Bank of America Corp BAC had volumes of ~29.07 million versus an average of ~83.67 million.

2. Facebook

Facebook Inc FB had volumes of ~24.48 million versus an average of ~34.68 million.

3. Micron Tech

Micron Technology, Inc. MU had volumes of ~23.61 million versus an average of ~39.72 million.

4. Apple

Apple Inc. AAPL had volumes of ~22.52 million versus an average of ~46.9 million.

5. Vale

Vale SA (ADR) VALE had volumes of ~18.06 million versus an average of ~29.65 million.

6. Barrick Gold

Barrick Gold Corporation (USA) ABX had volumes of ~16.15 million versus an average of ~18.49 million.

7. Sunedison
