U.S. Dollar Index moves higher

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.85, up 0.57. . Initial jobless claims came out down 15,000 to 281,000. Continuing claims were down 112,000 to 2.215 million. The Philadelphia Fed survey for July and the NAHB Housing Market Index for July are due at 10:00 AM ET. Fed Chair Janet Yellen will testify today before the Senate Banking Committee later today. Long-Term TIC Flows for May is scheduled for release late this afternoon.
