US stock futures traded slightly lower in early pre-market trade. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 8.50 points to 17,833.50, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 2.30 points to 2,089.95. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index dropped 5.60 points to 4,475.90.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index declining 0.78 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index dipping 0.35 percent and German DAX 30 index dropping 0.65 percent. French CAC 40 Index slipped 0.77 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index fell 0.06 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 0.02 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index jumped 2.17 percent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index gained 0.21 percent and India's BSE Sensex fell 0.92 percent.
