Tudor Investment Corp. Ups Bet On NCR Corp.; Exits Wynn Resorts Ltd.

Tudor Investment Corp. opened new positions in ADT Corp. ADT, Visa Inc. V and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. TEVA during the first quarter ended March 31. It exited investments in Mastercard Inc. MA and Wynn Resorts Ltd. WYNN. The Greenwich, Connecticut-based hedge fund also made a big bet on Corp. NCR, boosting its investment to 1.43 million shares it valued at $42.3 million March 31, from 56,570 shares valued at $1.7 million on Dec. 31. During the recent quarter, Tudor saw the value of its portfolio rise 8.7 percent to $3.13 billion, according to a regulatory filing Friday. The fund acquired a 6,700-share stake in ADT, a security service company, which it valued at $278 million on March 31. It also opened positions in Visa of about 535,000 shares it valued at nearly $35 million, and in Teva of about 550,000 shares it valued at $34.3 million. During the first quarter, Tudor sold 128,538 shares in MasterCard it had valued at $11 million on Dec. 31 and about 44,000 shares in Wynn Resorts it had valued at $6.6 million.
