The shares are up about 28 percent in the year to date. Churchill Chief Executive William C. Carstanjen said the company's adjusted operating results for the recent Kentucky Oaks and Derby week will be between $5 million and $6.5 million -- an improvement over the same period a year earlier. During the year ended Dec. 31 Churchill's adjusted income fell 14 percent to $2.64 a share, while revenue grew 4.3 percent to $812.9 million. "We saw continued improvement again this year and we preliminarily expect record Adjusted EBITDA with growth over last year's Kentucky Oaks and Derby week of $5.0-to-$6.5 million."
