Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

Blackstone Group LP BX shares climbed 2.27 percent to touch a new 52-week high of $41.95 after the company reported upbeat results for the first quarter on Thursday. Kinder Morgan Inc KMI shares climbed 0.53 percent to reach a new 52-week high of $43.66. Kinder Morgan reported Q1 earnings of $0.22 per share on revenue of $3.6 billion. The company also raised its quarterly dividend from $0.45 per share to $0.48 per share. Panera Bread Co PNRA shares rose 11.73 percent to reach a new 52-week high of $183.14 after the company authorized $500 million in new debt to buy back shares and said it has "recently engaged in constructive dialogue" with activist hedge fund Luxor Capital Group L.P. The company also said it agreed to sell and refranchise 73 company-owned cafes. NFLX shares climbed 14.36 percent to touch a new 52-week high of $543.73 after the company reported strong results for the first quarter. During the quarter, the company added 4.9 million streaming subscribers. FBR Capital upgraded Netflix from Market Perform to Outperform and raised the price target from $400.00 to $900.00.
