Friday After-Hours Movers; Curis Inc., NovaGold Resources Inc.

Curis Inc. CRIS climbed more than 13 percent in the after-hours session Friday to $3.45 a share. The company, which didn't issue news, raised $64.7 million in a stock offering Monday, and was off nearly 9 percent at Friday's closing. MannKind Corp. MNKD gained 4 percent in the extended session, recouping earlier losses Friday. The shares are off 16 percent for the week on discouragement over the roll-out of its Afrezza insulin product. NovaGold Resources Inc. NG gained 6 percent to $3.47. The Vancouver-based mining company had closed earlier down more than 5 percent when gold posted its biggest price drop in more than a year. Endeavour Silver Corp. EXK rose about 5 percent after hours, after faltering in the day's session. The company, which operates several mines in Mexico, posted results Thursday and closed out the week down 17 percent on lower silver prices. Crescent Point Energy Corp. CPG picked up nearly 5 percent to $24.02 a share. The Toronto-based company posts results next week. Mattson Technology Inc. MTSN increased 2.6 percent to $4.76. The stock is up more than 36 percent since Jan. 1. Qunar Cayman Islands Ltd. QUNR gained nearly 4 percent to $24.74 in the extended session. The Chinese online travel company didn't issue any news an has proven volatile in recent months. Tokai Pharmaceuticals Inc. TKAI declined more than 3 percent to $13.60 after hours, although the Cambridge, Massachusetts company issued no news Friday. It closed earlier down 4 percent. Shares of 500.com Ltd. WBAI dropped 6 percent to $13.69 in the extended session after closing up 5 percent earlier. The Chinese online sports lottery company has proven highly volatile recently amid a crackdown on the industry in China. Eagle Materials, Inc. EXP fell 2 percent to $82.28. The Dallas-based provider of gypsum wallboard closed the week up more than 5 percent although it didn't release any news.
