US Stock Futures Mixed, All Eyes On Jobs Data

US stock futures traded mixed in early pre-market trade. Data on nonfarm payroll employment for February and international trade for January will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. Data on consumer credit for January will be released at 3:00 p.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 12 points to 18,108.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 1 point to 2,098.70. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index rose 2.50 points to 4,452.00.

European markets were mostly higher today, with the Spanish Ibex Index falling 0.12%, STOXX Europe 600 Index surging 0.29% and German DAX 30 index gaining 0.19%. French CAC 40 Index climbed 0.10% and London's FTSE 100 Index rose 0.26%. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rose 1.17%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index dropped 0.12% and China's Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.22%.

Analysts at Keefe Bruyette & Woods upgraded

from Market Perform to Outperform. The price target for Citigroup has been raised from $54 to $61. Citigroup's shares closed at $53.56 yesterday. Citigroup's shares climbed 0.39% to $53.77 in pre-market trading.
