The Dow climbed 0.34% to 17,946.08, while the NASDAQ composite index rose 0.40% to 4,784.11. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index surged 0.44% to 2,071.55. The worst performing industries in the market today are: Photographic Equipment & Supplies: This industry fell 9.7% by 11:00 am ET. GoPro, Inc. GPRO shares dropped 9.3% in today's trading. GoPro reported better than expected Q4 results. The company issued a weak current-quarter profit forecast and announced the resignation of its COO Nina Richardson. Broadcasting - Radio: This industry tumbled 4% by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Pandora Media, Inc. P, which fell 18%. Pandora announced weaker-than-expected financial results for the fourth quarter and issued a weak revenue outlook. Active listeners were 81.5 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2014, a rise of 7% from 76.2 million in the year-ago period. Silver: This industry declined 2.6% by 11:00 am with Endeavour Silver Corp. EXK moving down 6.7%. Endeavour Silver is expected to release Q4 financial results on March 5, 2015. Savings & Loans: The industry dropped 2.2% by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was QC Holdings, Inc. QCCO, which declined 1.1%. QC Holdings shares have dropped 38.55% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 14.77% in the same period.
