Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

The Walt Disney Company DIS shares rose 7.11% to touch a new 52-week high of $100.79 after the company reported stronger-than-expected earnings for its first fiscal quarter. Kohl's Corp. KSS shares reached a new 52-week high of $66.01 after the company reported a 3.7% gain in its Q4 same-store sales and issued a strong earnings forecast. The J. M. Smucker Company SJM shares touched a new 52-week high of $113.745 after the company announced its plans to buy Big Heart Pet Brands in a $5.8 billion deal.
