Shares of Discover Financial Services DFS declined over 7 percent Thursday following its disappointing Q4 financial results.

Investors will want to watch competing names which were also falling Thursday.

American Express Company AXP was down over 4 percent Thursday after reporting its Q4 results.

Capital One Financial Corp. COF fell nearly 2 percent ahead of announcing its Q4 results.

In the Q4 reports, Discover announced it would set aside more money to cover bad loans and American Express announced it would cut 4000 jobs.
