Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

Alaska Air Group, Inc. ALK shares jumped 2.19% to reach a new 52-week high of $66.40. Alaksa Air announced Q4 earnings of $0.94 per share on revenue of $1.31 billion and raised its quarterly dividend to $0.20 per share. United Continental Holdings, Inc. UAL shares rose 5.35% to touch a new 52-week high of $72.91. United Continental posted a quarterly net profit of $28 million, or $0.07 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $140 million, or $0.37 per share. Excluding non-recurring items, United Continental's adjusted earnings came in at $1.20 per share. Southwest Airlines Co. LUV shares gained 7.08% to touch a new 52-week high of $44.79 after the company reported upbeat fourth-quarter results. City National Corporation CYN shares climbed 17.86% to reach a new 52-week high of $87.89 after the company agreed to sell itself to Royal Bank of Canada RY for $5.4 billion, or $93.80 per share.
