TASER Announces New Sales To 15 Police Departments

Traders may want to watch TASER International, Inc. TASR for upside potential as the company continues to post new sales to police departments.

Wednesday morning, the company announced that 15 new police agencies have selected AXON wearable cameras, resulting in sales of more than 1200 units.

The news follows an order from the Los Angeles Police Department in early January for more than 3,000 smart weapons.

Shares of TASER opened at about $25.54, down 0.7 percent.
