China’s iHealth Labs introduced a blood glucose monitor that can be easily connected to a smartphone through its headphone jack. The device is easy to use and highly portable, making it a revolutionary way to manage diabetes.

Injury Monitoring Chip

BlackBox revealed a $199 computer chip worn behind a person’s ear that can collect head impact data in order to monitor injuries. The chip could be picked up by larger brands later in the year to be used for everything from sports injury management to military protection.

Athlete's Activity Monitoring

FitLinxx presented its own wearable activity monitor, called the AmpStrip. The strip is designed to adhere to an athlete's body and worn 24/7 so it can collect data on activity, breathing, sleep and stress. The strip will be tested in March, and is expected to hit the markets in May with a $150 price tag.

Baby's Sleep Monitoring

Sproutling promised new parents a better sleep schedule with a baby monitor that is able to learn their child’s sleep schedule. The monitor analyzes sleep data and is able to predict sleeping patterns and recommend optimal sleeping conditions.

Heart Rate Monitoring And Earbuds

SMS Audio, LLC unveiled fitness tracking headphones that monitor the user’s heart rate using in-ear headphones. The earbuds also boast the ability to continue working without the need for a battery re-charge.
