shares jumped 3.60% to $68.80 after gaining 7.91% on Wednesday.

Gilead Sciences Inc. GILD

shares rose 1.81% to $92.94. The rise in the stock may be attributed to a possible report by analysts at RBC stating that the company could launch a buyback program of $10 billion or more.

shares gained 10.30% to $6.51.

Harmony Gold Mining Company LimitedHMY

shares jumped 9.18% to $2.02. Gold futures gained 1.71% to trade at $1,193.60 an ounce.

B2Gold Corp. BTG

gained 7.69% to $1.68. On Wednesday, B2Gold issued a Q4 interim update for its Masbate Gold Project Operations.

DRDGOLD Ltd. DRD

rose 7.58% to $1.56. Gold futures gained 1.71% to trade at $1,193.60 an ounce.
