Sevcon SEV shares climbed 16.52% to $9.10 after the company reported that it has received a $50 million contract to provide motor controllers for new hybrid electric 4-door sedan. Virco Mfg. VIRC rose 14.97% to $3.38. Virco Manufacturing reported Q3 earnings of $0.31 per share on revenue of $62.65 million. Tuniu TOUR shares surged 8.05% to $12.21 after the company and DFS Group reported that the two companies will collaborate to promote international travel and shopping. Tuniu and Ctrip CTRP also signed a strategic collaboration agreement. NCI Building Systems NCS climbed 7.44% to $19.50 on upbeat Q4 earnings. Hovnanian Enterprises HOV gained 3.85% to $4.05 after the company reported Q4 results. Hovnanian reported earnings of $1.95 per share on revenue of $698.40 million. Costco Wholesale COST rose 2.34% to $146.38 after the company reported a better-than-expected profit for the first quarter. American Airlines Group AAL shares surged 1.78% to $49.17. Barclays upgraded American Airlines from Equalweight to Overweight and raised the price target from $47.00 to $63.00.
