Macy's (NYSE: M) will be in focus on Black Friday. China will see its first Black Friday sales this year as U.S. retailers like Macy's offer deep discounts in an effort to include the nation in the binge shopping craze. Macy's shares rose 0.68 percent to $63.96 in the after-hours trading session.
This Black Friday, Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE: WMT) is focusing on five days of sales. Wal-Mart shares slipped 0.02 percent to $84.96 in after-hours trading.
Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) has announced many deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The company has lowered the price of its unlocked version of Fire phone by $250. Amazon.com shares gained 0.02 percent to $333.65 in the after-hours trading session.
U.S. retail stocks like Target (NYSE: TGT), J.C. Penney Company (NYSE: JCP) and Best Buy Co (NYSE: BBY) will also remain in focus today. Target shares rose 0.01 percent to $72.17 in after-hours trading, while J.C. Penney shares gained 0.13 percent to $7.76 in the after-hours trading session. Best Buy shares climbed 0.89 percent to close at $38.75 on Wednesday.
