US Stock Futures Up Ahead Of Economic Data - Biomarin Pharmaceutical (NASDAQ:BMRN)

US stock futures traded higher in early pre-market trade. The Chicago Fed National Activity Index for October will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while the Markit PMI services index (flash) for November will be released at 9:45 a.m. ET. The Dallas Fed general business activity index for November will be released at 10:30 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 26 points to 17,806.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures rose 3.80 points to 2,065.60. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 10.75 points to 4,260.00.

European markets were mostly higher today, with the Spanish Ibex Index rising 1.32%, STOXX Europe 600 Index gaining 0.38%. German DAX 30 index climbed 0.74%, French CAC 40 Index gained 0.88% and London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.05%. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rose 0.33%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index climbed 1.95%, China's Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.85% and India's Sensex gained 0.58%.
