US Stock Futures Down Ahead Of Industrial Production Data

Pre-open movers US stock futures traded lower in early pre-market trade. The Empire State manufacturing index for November will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while industrial production data for October will be released at 9:15 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 39 points to 17,565.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 5.90 points to 2,032.10. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index slipped 8.75 points to 4,213.25. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were mostly lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index rising 0.27%, STOXX Europe 600 Index falling 0.28%. German DAX 30 index slipped 0.17%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.26% and London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.22%. The eurozone's trade surplus widened to 18.5 billion euros ($23.17 billion), compared to EUR10.8 billion in the year-ago month. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dipped 2.96%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 1.21%, China's Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.19% and India's Sensex gained 0.47%. Japan's GDP fell 1.6% on an annualized basis in the third quarter. Broker Recommendation Analysts at Deutsche Bank upgraded Pinnacle Foods PF from Hold to Buy and raised the price target from $34.00 to $37.00..
