Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

Canadian Pacific Railway CP has reportedly approached CSX about a potential merger, that would create a $62 billion North American railway powerhouse, according to sources, as reported by WSJ. The approach made in the past week, was rebuffed by CSX, according to people familiar with the matter. Korea Electric Power KEP shares touched a new 52-week high of $23.09. Korea Electric Power shares have jumped 60.39% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 11.46% in the same period. Infosys INFY shares rose 3.09% to reach a new 52-week high of $64.76. On Friday, Infosys reported better-than-expected Q2 earnings.
