Stock Futures Moving Big On News Of ISIS, Ukraine

Stock futures fell sharply Thursday night after President Barack Obama announced he had authorized limited airstrikes against Islamic militants in Iraq.

The S&P 500 futures dropped 15 points, or 0.80 percent

Friday morning's news by RIA Novosti that Russia is seeking to de-escalate in the Ukrainian stand-off has sent stock futures soaring. The S&P 500 futures have now recovered all the overnight losses and are trading higher seven points, or 0.36 percent.

The overnight low on the S&P future was 1890.25, and the high this morning so far is 1913.75. The trading range has been 23.25 points, or 1.23 percent, marking a very volatile session so far.
