TIBX Rumored To Be In Play Again

Dow Jones is reporting that Tibco Software, Inc

has reached out to potential buyers, including some private equity firms. TIBX has been the subject of rumors in the past, which had ultimately were unfounded. On May 28, 2014, shares rallied nearly 7 percent to 21.33, a similar price levels as today, with the rumor of European tech company SAP looking to perhaps make an acquisition of the company. Similar chatter was evident in early October 2011 as well. TIBX shares are higher by 7 percent today at 20.52, although they have fallen off the highs of the day at 21.64.
