DRAM contract quotes rose an average of 4.92% in the second half of July, due to short supply, reports DRAMeXchange, via DigiTimes. In preparation for Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) new product releases, DRAM suppliers have begun to reserve portions of their DRAM capacity for mobile DRAM, further constraining supply.
