Eastman Offers '14 Sustainability Report

Eastman Chemical Company EMN today announced the release of its 2014 sustainability report, "Moving forward together." The comprehensive, GRI-compliant report provides a review of the company's sustainability strategy, progress, advancements and goals. "Sustainability is at the heart of Eastman's growth platform." said Godefroy Motte, senior vice president and chief sustainability officer for Eastman. "We strive to be good stewards of our company, our communities and the world. This report reflects the efforts of the men and women of Eastman embedding Sustainability in their actions to create value - now and for future generations.  We have made progress on our sustainability journey, but we know our work is never complete." Eastman's report covers data through 2013, is available in a fully interactive online format, and has an option to "build your own report" for customized downloading and printing.  Highlights include: o Continued energy intensity improvements resulting in ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award and United States Department of Energy Better Buildings, Better Plants Challenge partner commitment   o Expanded portfolio of sustainably advantaged products and capacity expansion of market-leading products o Cross value chain collaborations to help solve complex challenges, such as the Full Wrap Label Consortium focused on improving the US  plastics recycle stream and WBCSD's chemical sector's Reaching Full Potential project The report is available at www.eastman.com/sustainability.
