At 10:25 am, the Dow dropped 0.65% to 16,912.88, the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index moved down 0.64% to 1,964.98 and the NASDAQ composite index fell 1.19% to 4,398.46.

Basic Materials Wholesale: This industry rose 6.43% by 10:25 am ET. The top performer in this industry was Macquarie Infrastructure Company LLC (NYSE: MIC), which gained 9.7%. Macquarie Infrastructure agreed to acquire the remaining 50% of International-Matex Tank Terminals for $910 million in cash and $115 million in newly issued stock. It also raised its quarterly dividend from $0.9375 to $0.95 per share.
Foreign Utilities: The industry gained 0.67% by 10:25 am. The top performer in this industry was CPFL Energia SA (NYSE: CPL), which gained 1%. CPFL Energia's trailing-twelve-month revenue is $6.70 billion.
REIT - Residential: This industry moved up 0.49% by 10:25 am. The top performer in this industry was Apartment Investment and Management Company (NYSE: AIV), which gained 1.4%. UBS upgraded Apartment Investment and Management Company from Neutral to Buy.
Silver: This industry jumped 0.42% by 10:25 am. The top performer in this industry was Great Panther Silver (NYSE: GPL), which rose 2.4%. Silver futures gained 0.24% to trade at $21.07 an ounce.
