Digitimes Reports Intel to Achieve 80% of its Goal of 40M Tablet-AP Shipments in 2014

While Intel INTC is seeking to ship 40 million application processors for tablets in 2014, Digitimes expects it will be able to achieve 80% of its goal, with 31.15 million APs in 2014. PC brand vendors, including Lenovo LNVGY, Acer ACEYY, Hewlett-Packard HPQ and Dell are expected to generate the gains in Intel's tablet AP shipments.
