PetSmart (NASDAQ: PETM) climbed 14.07% to $68.22 on news that activist investor Barry Rosenstein had acquired a 9.9 percent stake and will seek a review of strategic alternatives.

GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) gained 4.19% to $43.80 after dropping 13.85% on Wednesday.

Ryanair Holdings plc (NASDAQ: RYAAY) shares gained 3.77% to $56.13 after dropping 3.60% on Wednesday.

International Speedway (NASDAQ: ISCA) surged 3.10% to $34.60 after the company reported better-than-expected FQ2 earnings.
