announcement
that The Kroger Co.

will purchase all outstanding shares of Vitacost.com for $8 per share in a merger agreement. Also moving in the sector are:
  • Vitamin Shoppe Inc VSI - down ~2 percent
  • GNC Holdings Inc GNC - down ~0.4 percent
  • Blyth, Inc. BTH - up ~0.7 percent
