Canadian Solar Announces 12.6 Megawatts Supply Contract With Turkey

Canadian Solar CSIQ, a solar sector leader, announced a 12.6 megawatts module supply contract with Turkey's Kayseri Organized Industry Zone.

The deal is Canadian Solar's largest in Turkey and is a big accomplishment for the company's emerging market demographic.

Canadian Solar chairman and CEO Dr. Shawn Qu states, "We are very proud to announce this 12.6MW module supply agreement which is our largest deal ever in Turkey, making it a new milestone in this important emerging market. It is the second deal we made with the aforementioned customers to whom we supplied 2.2MW of solar modules at the end of last year."

Shares of Canadian Solar are up 5.6 percent at $31.46.
