American Apparel (NYSE: APP) dropped 12% to $0.85 in pre-market trading after the company announced Dov Charney's special meeting request is invalid. On Saturday, American Apparel adopted a one-year stockholder rights plan.

Central European Media Enterprises (NASDAQ: CETV) dipped 1.42% to $2.78 in pre-market trading after gaining 3.30% on Friday.

BlackBerry (NASDAQ: BBRY) shares declined 1.33% to $9.65 in pre-market trading after dropping 1.41% on Friday.

United States Steel (NYSE: X) fell 1.23% to $25.70 in pre-market trading. Martin Marietta Materials (NYSE: MLM) will replace U.S. Steel in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on July 1.
