GTECH Says it is Engaged in Discussions with International Game Technology

GTECH S.p.A. GTKYY today announced that it is engaged in preliminary, exploratory discussions as part of a process regarding a potential transaction with International Game Technology, NYSE. GTECH has engaged advisors to assist it in exploring this potential transaction. IGT confirmed it is exploring strategic alternatives. IGT was trading at $16.41 in early premarket trading Monday, up from Friday's close of $15.86.
