Samsung SSNLF and LG are reportedly now considering using sapphire crystal displays, according to Korean media, as reported by PhoneArena. Apple AAPL signed an agreement with GT Advanced Technologies GTAT to become its sapphire glass supplier. The two companies are constructing a plant in Mesa, Arizona.
