Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) shares climbed 17.61% to $32.99 in the pre-market trading session after the company reported stronger-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter results. EA reported its adjusted earnings of $0.48 per share on revenue of $1.12 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.11 per share on revenue of $812.4 million.

Exelixis (NASDAQ: EXEL) shares jumped 7.36% to $3.50 in pre-market trading after the company reported the presentation of final Phase 1b data for Cobimetinib in combination with Vemurafenib.

Mondelez International (NASDAQ: MDLZ) shares gained 5.48% to $37.15 in pre-market trading after the company and D.E. Master Blenders 1753 B.V. announced plans to combine their coffee businesses. Mondelez reported its Q1 earnings of $0.39 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $0.35 per share.

First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) soared 3.78% to $70.00 in the pre-market trading after the company reported Q1 earnings of $1.10 per share on revenue of $950.0 million and raised its FY14 earnings outlook.
