Facebook Promotes VP Of Product Chris Cox To CPO

This May 2, 2014, Facebook FB announced that it promoted its Vice President Chris Cox to Chief Product Officer, but also said that it has not made any organizational change. Chris Cox helped create Facebook's News Feed and came up with the social media giant's “Social By Design” strategy. The announcement was made by Chief Executive Officer, Mark Zuckerberg, and was made public in an internal announcement.
